Mind Your Business, Reach Your Goals
Think of reaching goals as a selection process.
You must constantly evaluate your experiences on a plus/minus scale, answering the implicit question, “are you moving towards your goal?”
Further, you’re constantly making choices that affect every aspect of your life, specifically how you use energy and resources to reach your objective.
When looking at the nature of success, the mental balancing act it entails, no decision is more important than where you focus your attention.
In this era of social media, being inundated with other people’s business has become commonplace and, if you’re not discerning, detrimental.
Unfortunately, I know way too much about other people; their dating habits, feelings, goals, income and yearnings, none of which is anyone’s concern, especially mine.
It has come to the point that people know more about celebrities (strangers) and have more of an emotional investment in their lives than their own. What a shame.
Wise up and keep your eyes on the ball. Your commitment to success shouldn’t flicker past like the latest tweet.
Mind your business and focus on your goals. There is no better way to make your dreams a reality.
Later,
Gary
