Big Muscles, Small Dreams
You’ve seen them at the gym, or swaggering down the street.
(Maybe you’re one?)
Dudes built like gorillas, seeking attention from women and trying to intimidate men.
It’s a shame.
Fellas, you’re not scaring anyone.
Obviously it takes focus and discipline to build a powerful physique. But this is only part of what’s necessary to become a successful man. And far too many iron heads lack a larger vision of where their positive attributes can take them.
I believe if a guy is committed to building a monster body, he can start a business. He simply needs to apply his weightlifting mind frame to being an entrepreneur and making money.
One of the primary benefits of exercise, especially weight training, is building confidence. Internal development should parallel muscular development. This is the emotional connection that keeps you hungry for success and focused on your goals.
And while there’s no disputing that excellent health and looking good are important, you must maintain perspective. A grown man works his strategy on many levels. Starting a business and getting your money right should be a major part of your reality. This means developing a viable plan, staying focused and eliminating distractions, moves that are vital for your success.
Blustering through the hood muscled-up is a poor man’s attempt to gain power (just like chasing women). He has conceded that he doesn’t have the goods to really make it. So he takes the bootleg route by frontin’ and flossin’, while secretly fearing he’ll be found out.
This is similar to criminalized thinking, which would have you believe real men come from penitentiaries, and dudes lockdown are more masculine and “harder” than you – a free man. They’ve flipped the script to justify their inadequacy.
Don’t buy into this nonsense!
Reactionary tough guys only see what’s in front of them, and their vision is limited.
What you want is real power, command. And to get it, you must create a solid foundation by getting your priorities in order and starting a business.
Take the first step now.
Dream big!
Later,
Gary
