How To Get Control And Achieve Your Goals
Guys,
Emotional control is vital for achieving your goals and living a quality life.
It often surprises people that I don’t react in the same excited and hyper-emotional way they do when dealing with stressful situations.
But there’s really no secret.
I’ve conscientiously worked on self-control, learning how to express myself concisely without drama or exaggeration.
I don’t let my buttons get pushed, regardless of the situation.
You guys must understand, dysfunction loves company, and I don’t feed the beast.
I let people sit with their confusion and negativity, speaking my mind when necessary and always keeping my boundaries tight.
Self-control is all about self-respect.
If you don’t get caught up in people’s nonsense, and keep a clear head, you’ll always move from a position of power.
Listen, here’s what you need to do.
Examine yourself closely, really take a good look. Don’t be overly critical, this is simply an assessment.
Be honest about what you find.
As I said, don’t hate, you’re just gathering information to improve yourself.
After you’ve glimpsed some truths, start working on them.
(Especially reflect on your upbringing, notice how caregivers and environment have influenced your thinking, and shaped your perceptions.)
Each week, focus on a negative trait you want to improve. Go over it again and again until you’ve nullified its power over you.
If you’re dedicated to growth, I can guarantee you’ll become more confident and approach any task or situation with newfound resolve, virtually assuring a reasonable or expected outcome.
Don’t let your current mind frame hold you back!
Take control of your emotions and change your life.
Later,
Gary
